 th & Belonging on Saturday\, September 19\, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at TEAM
  Abilities\, 8448 Hwy 242\, Conroe\, TX 77385. \nCreated especially for ad
 ults with special needs\, Sparkle & Shine is designed to give every partic
 ipant a moment to step into the spotlight\, celebrate who they are and exp
 erience the confidence that comes from being seen\, valued and included. \
 n“Confidence doesn't look the same on everyone\, and it shouldn't have to\
 ,” said Rachel Jelks\, Founder and Executive Director of TEAM Abilities. “
 Sparkle & Shine is about creating a place where our participants don't hav
 e to become anyone else to be celebrated. They get to walk in as themselve
 s and know that they belong.” \nThe event will feature an “I AM” Craft Sta
 tion\, the Shine Line: A Walk of Worth\, crown and sash presentations\, a
  photo booth\, snacks and refreshments and other activities centered aroun
 d confidence and self-expression. \nAt the heart of the celebration will b
 e the Shine Line\, where participants will have an opportunity to walk the
  runway\, share their personal “I AM” statement and receive a crown and sa
 sh—not as a competition or prize\, but as a reminder of their individual w
 orth. \n“We want every person who walks that runway to feel what all of us
  deserve to feel—that they are seen\, they are celebrated and they are eno
 ugh\,” Jelks said. “There is tremendous power in giving someone a moment t
 hat belongs entirely to them.” A Young Host With a Mission to “Shine Brigh
 t” \nServing as Special Guest Host will be Emma Jelks\, 2026 Little Miss B
 lack Greater Texas Princess\, whose pageant platform focuses on encouragin
 g others to “Shine Bright.” \n“I am hosting this event so people can learn
  to shine their light\,” Emma said. \nEmma will help welcome participants
  and celebrate them throughout the event\, bringing the message behind her
  pageant platform into an experience designed for the special-needs commun
 ity. \n“Emma's message is beautifully simple\,” Rachel Jelks said. “You do
 n't have to be the loudest person in the room or look like anyone else to
  shine. Sometimes shining simply means having the confidence to say\, ‘Thi
 s is who I am.’” \nSparkle & Shine is presented by TEAM Abilities and Spar
